Century Systems, Inc. was initially established as a data processing service bureau for businesses whose budgets didn't include computer equipment.
Shortly following our incorporation, it became clear that leading edge companies that utilized our service bureau may, instead, want to own and operate their own computer systems.
As a result, our Data Systems Division was born with the distinct charge of providing computer equipment at prices companies were able to afford.
In our further efforts to be a full service provider, the data division also provided custom designed software.
Shortly thereafter, our Management Systems Division became active in site support on a variety of levels; from: systems analysis, Programming, installation, maintenance and support to network design and implementation.
And, finally, our Learning Systems Division started by teaching clients in the care and maintenance of the UNIX® Operating System.
Today, Century Learning Systems provides a wide range of educational opportunities for the business community at large.
Century Systems, Inc. was incorporated in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in March of 1975. At that time, the primary purpose of the company was to provide traditional data processing services to a wide range of businesses throughout the state.
